I hope this small space will bring a smile, a deep sigh, a frequent smirk…and so I will try and write with excellent grammar set aside…

This wee business creates a soft spot in my heart. I think about it relentlessly and work along hoping to share work that speaks to you. The farmers and dyers and my helpers and collectors, all speak volumes to me.

If you hold a sweet little felted friend and you imagine the fields, the animals, the farmers, the shearers, the processors, the dyers, the designer and felter, and the way you felt when you picked it up in my booth or how you feel when you give it to someone special

…it should be a bit overwhelming. It is for me.

Tearing up a little over here. Could be because I am grateful… And not just social-media-grateful, but like, really grateful.

Could be the chocolate covered currants I just belted back…who knows?
